It works with food that needs to breathe
Bread, bagels, cheese, and half-cut fruit often do not like being fully sealed. A beeswax wrap helps reduce moisture loss while leaving a little room to breathe.
How to use it
Wrap the food or cover the bowl, then press gently with your hands for a few seconds. If it hardens in the fridge, let it return to room temperature and warm it with your hands again.
Not a universal answer
For oily cooked dishes, hot soup, long-distance carrying, or upside-down containers, glass containers, silicone lids, or sealed boxes are usually better.
